End Date: 6/17/2018End Time: 4:00 PM
Event Description:
Trace fossils are under appreciated by fossil collectors, but are important because they provide evidence of how life was lived. What do they look like? What stories do they tell? Some rocks in our area contain more trace fossils than those with an exoskeleton. Park Paleontologist Alan Goldstein will pull out examples from the park collections storeroom, including casts of fossils nearly 700 million years old! Free with Interpretive Center admission.
