End Date: 5/27/2018End Time: 4:00 PM
Event Description:
Explore the most common fossil you've never heard of. Park Paleontologist Alan Goldstein will pull out a wide variety of shapes and sizes of brachiopods from the park collections storeroom. The animals were known by their fossils long before the first living examples were found. Why don’t they wash up on the seashore with other shells? What makes them different from clam?
