County: Greene
Project Type: Road renovation
PLSS Location: T7N R7W S34

PLSS Location:  T7N R7W S27

Goose Creek Farm Yard structure removal
County: Benton
Project Type: Farm yard / structural removal
PLSS Location: T24N R8W S20

The Thousand Island South Access Road project would renovate an existing dirt road. Regrading and tree and brush clearing will occur. Once complete, the renovated road will provide much-needed access for maintenance and management to the south side of the Thousand Island property.

The Thousand Island North Lake Culvert Repair project would remove an existing culvert from a highly eroded berm. The berm would then be repaired and regraded, with the surrounding area riprapped for erosion control. The existing culvert currently serves no purpose and prevents proper management and water level control at the site.

The Goose Creek Farm Yard Structure Removal project would involve the demolition and removal of several old feed-lot structures, including a three-sided barn, an old garage, and a concrete feeding trough. This structure removal project will contribute to restoration efforts at Goose Creek Gamebird Habitat Area.
