Cancelled - Senior Monday Luncheon, Salamonie Lake
Start Date: 4/6/2020Start Time: 12:00 PM
End Date: 4/6/2020End Time: 2:00 PM
Event Description:
**We want our guests and staff to have safe and memorable outdoor experiences at our park in light of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.)  This event is cancelled or the location is modified to comply with the guidance for gatherings provided by the Indiana State Department of Health or our local county health department. We regret that we must make this decision, but will err on the side of caution, given that we know the spread of this virus comes from close personal contact and it is critical to limit that spread. The park remains open for public use, and we invite you to come and take a hike, spend a night under the stars camping, or have a picnic lunch. Read more information about the response of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources at stateparks.IN.gov/7881.htm.**

April 6: Have you ever wondered how and when people settled in the Americas? How did they survive? In this program, Mounds State Park interpretive naturalist Kelley Morgan will speak about the eras of American prehistory culminating with the civilizations that existed in Indiana and the Mid-West region at the time of Spanish contact.
