[DNR] Crosley FWA to host youth squirrel hunt, Jan. 4

Event Description
Crosley Fish & Wildlife Area in Jennings County will host a youth squirrel hunt on Jan. 4.

The hunt starts at 9 a.m. and is open to hunters 17 years old or younger. Hunters under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Youth participants must have a valid youth hunting/trapping license and have completed a hunter education course. Adults are not required to be licensed hunters. Unlicensed adults, however, cannot carry their child’s gun or harvested squirrels.

Hunters must bring their own squirrel rifle or shotgun. Lunch will be provided. Dogs and assistance will be provided by volunteers from Clifty Creek Coon Hunters Club and Hoosier Tree Dog Alliance.
