Climate Change and Coral Reefs, Falls of the Ohio State Park

Event Description:
Coral reefs were one of the first ecosystems to be impacted by climate change. Marine biologist & naturalist Dr. Dominique Hansen will reveal the evidence through her research, such as coral bleaching, the loss of key species, changes in sea water, and more. What will happen if nothing changes or conditions get worse? Dr. Hansen is a graduate of James Cook University in Queensland, Australia, with extensive experience diving and research coral reefs.

This presentation is part of a series "Marine Life of Today and Yesterday" and is free with regular interpretive center admission.
