[DNR] Project Learning Tree PreK-8 Workshop, Fort Wayne |
|
Event Description: Project Learning Tree PreK-8 Workshop is broad-based environmental education, designed to support, augment, and enrich a variety of teaching and learning opportunities. A source of hands-on, interdisciplinary instructional activities, PLT is available to teachers and other educators through participation in a six-hour workshop.
During the workshop participants are introduced to the PLT activity guide, experience a variety of activities, and learn how to use it in their own particular setting and integrate the activities into their existing curriculum. It is “classroom friendly” – and requires minimal preparation to be included in lesson plans.
Professional growth points are available for attending this workshop.
This workshop takes place over two evenings from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. each evening. Participants must attend both nights to receive professional growth points and PLT certification and pre-registration is required.
