Event Description:
Learn to Hunt: Deer Hunting 101 Workshop

This workshop is designed for Families and Individuals wanting to learn how to hunt deer. The workshop is made up of two 3 hour classes. All classes will be held at Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve.

Day 1: October 23, 5pm-8pm (Central time)
Day 2: October 24, 5pm-8pm (Central time)

Day 1: Participants will learn: History of deer hunting in Indiana, laws and regulations, differences between rural and urban hunting, and how to scout and hunt public lands.

Day 2: Participants will learn: tree setups and safety, hunt techniques, gear selection, shot placement (archery vs firearms), tracking, and processing harvested game.

Pre-registration is required due to limited space so sign up quickly. Register with the Red icon at the top right.
