{INDOT} Lane Restrictions on SR 4

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is advising motorists that will be intermittent, alternating lane restrictions on SR 4 in Elkhart County through Tuesday, December 11.

Starting today, INDOT maintenance crews will be working in the eastbound lane of SR 4 between Steury Avenue in Goshen and SR 13. As work is in progress, the road will be restricted to single-lane traffic in alternating directions controlled by flaggers. This is a continuously slow-moving operation with a 12-ft. width limit. Drivers should also be aware of merging construction traffic. Work will not take place over the weekend, but is scheduled to start again on Monday morning, December 10. It is anticipated this work will be completed by end of the day on Tuesday, December 11, weather permitting.
