Rep. Kathy Kreag Richardson elected as House Majority Caucus Chair
STATEHOUSE - Rep. Kathy Kreag Richardson (R-Noblesville) was elected by the Indiana House of Representatives Majority Caucus to the leadership role of Caucus Chair today.
“It is an honor to serve and be elected to this position. I will continue to serve in a manner that best represents my community and the needs of our state,” said. Rep. Richardson.
Rep. Richardson was first elected to the Indiana House of Representatives in 1992 and has served as Caucus Chair since 2000.
“The potential advancement the next two years hold for Indiana is truly exciting,” said Rep. Richardson. “Indiana is a model state for fiscal prudence and responsible governance. As a result, Indiana has led the way towards an economic recovery. We will continue to find innovative ways to attract job creators and boost our economy, so all Hoosiers have the ability to realize their American Dream in Indiana.”
The Caucus Chair is a vital leadership role and partnership with the Speaker of the House and the Floor Leader. Rep. Richardson’s duties in this role include the management of personnel, operation and organization of the House Majority Caucus.
