Entry Description
Traffic Stoppages Scheduled for U.S. Route 150
Stoppages required so materials can be delivered
PROSPECT, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces that traffic on U.S. Route 150 (U.S. 150) in Orange County will be stopped temporarily.
On Monday, November 12, traffic will be stopped intermittently on U.S. 150 approximately 1.2 miles east of the Prospect junction. Multiple stoppages will take place, none lasting more than 15 minutes between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time.
Stopping traffic is required to allow for pieces of a drainage structure to be installed. All lanes will be stopped in each direction as cranes are used to lift and set the pieces in place. Local authorities will be on site to aid in traffic control and inclement weather would postpone work until the following day.
INDOT reminds motorists to follow the posted work zone speed limit, use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a work zone. For the latest news and information about INDOT, please visit www.in.gov/indot or www.trafficwise.in.gov .
