Entry Description
Marion County- Monday afternoon, October 22nd, at 12:25 p.m., Indiana State Police responded to a two vehicle crash on I-65 SB at the 101.1 mm that sent three people to area hospitals.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Lyndsey R. Donaldson, 22, of Indianapolis was driving her 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee SB I-65 at the 101.1 mm in the left lane. Donaldson lost control of the vehicle, entered the grass median and struck the median guardrail. Donaldson’s vehicle reentered the left lane of the interstate and was struck by a 200 Ford Windstar mini-van being operated by Fredrick W. Beckham, 63 of Marion IN.
Donaldson and two passengers in the Beckham vehicle were transported to St. Vincent and Methodists Hospitals due to complaint of pain.
Traffic in the immediate area was restricted for approximately an hour while emergency workers investigated the crash and removed the wreckage.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. |
