ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces telephone utility work will restrict SR 9 shoulders on both sides of the road, between CR 44 and CR 42 (approximately 2 miles south of Wakarusa), beginning Friday, October 19, at 8 a.m.

Motorists should be aware of shoulder restrictions, workers in the right-of-way and merging construction traffic. The work is expected to be finished on Wednesday, October 24, by 5 p.m., weather permitting.
