West Side I-465 to I-70
Ramp Lane Restriction

INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractors plan to restrict the left lane of the northbound I-465 flyover ramp to westbound I-70 (Exit 9) on the city’s west side.  Walsh Construction, the state’s contractor, will restrict the ramp lane beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, October 15 for approximately 9 days to make repairs to the subgrade and concrete pavement.

 

The restriction will remain in place as contractors set temporary barrier wall, excavate the damaged pavement and make repairs to the subgrade before paving new concrete.  After the expected 9-day repairs, traffic will be shifted to begin repairs to the right ramp lane.  The northbound I-465 ramp to eastbound I-70 will not be affected.
