State Sen. Pat Miller: $14M Funding Increase for Marion County Roads

STATEHOUSE (Aug. 5, 2013) — Roads, bridges and highways in Marion County will benefit from a $14,152,482 funding increase over current levels throughout the next two years, according to State Sen. Pat Miller (R-Indianapolis).

 

In the new state budget, local governments in Marion County are slated to receive an estimated $55,987,533 in total road funding.

 

During the 2013 legislative session, the General Assembly passed the fiscal year 2014-2015 state budget, which increased transportation funding statewide by $210 million per year. This includes $100 million for local units each year.
