STATEHOUSE (April 19, 2013) – State Sen. Michael Crider (R-Greenfield) recently welcomed the following local students to the Statehouse as Senate pages:

• Anabelle Balch, a home school student from Greenfield.
• Josh Balch, from Greenfield, attends Red Oak High School Homeschool.
• Erin Dunn, from McCordsville, attends Mt. Vernon Middle School.
• Cody Elliott, from New Palestine, attends Bunge Terrace Christian School.
• Brock Frye, from New Palestine, attends Doe Creek Middle School.
• Cooper Hanson, from Greenfield, attends Greenfield Central Junior High School.
• Katherine Keller, from Greenfield, attends Greenfield-Central High School.
• Amanda Moore, from New Palestine, attends New Palestine High School.
• Sarah Muckerheide, from Greenfield, attends St. Michael's Catholic School.
• Eli Nester, from Greenfield, attends Greenfield Central Junior High School.
• Jaleesa  Poindexter, from Greenfield, attends Greenfield-Central High School.
• Elynn Roberts, from Greenfield, attends Greenfield-Central High School.
• Trenton Roberts, from Greenfield, attends Greenfield Central Junior High School.
• Benjamin Yenger, a home school student from New Palestine.

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the chamber floor and interacting with their state senators.

“When students come to spend a day at the Statehouse, they enjoy a unique educational experience,” Crider said. “They meet those serving in the Senate and witness discussions that impact Hoosiers throughout the state. This program gives students an inside look at the legislative process, and is certainly a distinct educational program.”
