[ISP] I-70 Rollover Crash in Morgan County Sends One to Hospital

Entry Description

Morgan County—This morning at 8:52, Indiana State Police and Morgan County emergency agencies responded to the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 near the 54 mile marker for a rollover crash.

Preliminary investigation revealed a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox SUV driven by 22-year-old Austin B. Livesay of Zionsville, IN was westbound on I-70, traveled off the roadway, overcorrected, and ultimately rolled over multiple times. He was transported to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for treatment of neck and shoulder pain, believed to be non-life threatening.

No citations were issued and this was not a construction zone. Seatbelts are believed to have been in use.

The crash was investigated by ISP Trooper Adam Edwards. Assisting were ISP Sergeant Cory Robinson and Troopers Kent Winstead and John Myers, Monroe Township Fire/Rescue, Brown Township Fire/Rescue and Curtis Wrecker Service.
