[LIBRARY] Collection Development Strategies for Selective Depository Libraries
Start Date: 4/23/2014Start Time: 9:00 AM
End Date: 4/23/2014End Time: 3:00 PM
Entry Description

Note: This workshop is for Indiana FDLP affiliates and anyone else interested in Federal Documents.

Click here to register.

This workshop is a hands-on opportunity to consider various approaches to collection development in an increasingly electronic depository library program. Participants will explore strategies for tackling a zero-based item review of depository selections as well as consider cooperative collection development options with one another. Participants should bring their library's FDLP internal password, a *printed* copy of their library's current selection profile, their collection development policy, and any tools used within their institution in making collection development decisions. A flash drive is optional, but many participants find it helpful.
