Entry Description
Indianapolis – Tomorrow, First Lady Karen Pence, dressed in 19th century period costume, will visit with fourth grade students at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School in Valparaiso. There, she will lead activities to commemorate Indiana’s bicentennial year, including leading an Indiana county map puzzle activity and presenting the book ‘The Gifts of Indiana,’ an official Bicentennial Legacy Project written by Butler University students. The visit is part of a series of school stops the First Lady will make this year to celebrate Indiana’s bicentennial year. Details below.
