[INDOT] First Annual Title VI Implementation Summit
Start Date: 3/18/2016Start Time: 9:00 AM
End Date: 3/18/2016End Time: 3:00 PM
Entry Description

All Recipients of federal funds, directly or indirectly as subrecipients, are required to comply with Title VI.  For communities (Cities, Towns, Counties, etc.), this includes developing a Title VI Implementation Plan and an Annual Goals & Accomplishments Report.  INDOT is required to ensure communities are in compliance with Title VI requirements before awarding funds for local projects.  During this summit, we will cover the legal and practical requirements of Title VI compliance in the morning and actually workshop out Title VI Plans & Reports in the afternoon.  All Title VI coordinators / program managers from Indiana communities are invited to attend, but space is limited.  Register today and watch our website for summit materials, which will be available for download prior to the event.  Bring your current related Title VI & nondiscrimination policies, organizational charts, complaint policies, and training materials to use during the workshop portion of the event.  We will break for lunch but lunch is on your own.  We look forward to this opportunity to work together to improve Title VI compliance across the State of Indiana.
