STATEHOUSE (March 19, 2013) – State Sen. Carlin Yoder (R-Middlebury) recently welcomed Treg Beer to the Statehouse as a Senate page. Treg is from Milford and attends Fairfield High School.

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing some debates from the chamber floor and interacting with their state senators.

“I really enjoy having local students like Treg visit the Statehouse to page for a day and learn about the legislative process,” Yoder said. “It’s a great opportunity for students to see the General Assembly in action and bring their civic textbooks to life.” 

Students in grades six through 12 can participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays through April 4.
