INDIANAPOLIS – Former Interstate Brands Corporation (IBC) employees and related workers covered by the Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) Act were notified by a letter from the Indiana Department of Workforce Development (DWD) sent March 8 of upcoming benefit orientation sessions scheduled to occur at several locations across the state. TAA benefits include wage replacement, education and training assistance, medical insurance aid, as well as other job-seeking services depending on worker eligibility. In-person TAA benefit orientation sessions will take place at locations in Indianapolis, Mishawaka and Columbus. These sessions will also be augmented by webinar orientation sessions held at several full-service WorkOne locations across Indiana. All former IBC employees and related workers are strongly encouraged to contact their local WorkOne as soon as possible to confirm their attendance at one of the orientations.
