Governor Mike Pence has declared March Agriculture Appreciation Month in Indiana.
The Hoosier celebration is an extension of National Ag Day, March 19.

6:30 p.m. Wayne County Ag Day Rural/Urban Dinner
The Wayne County Farm Bureau is hosting a Rural/Urban Dinner. Guests will enjoy a catered pork chop dinner and Dr. Fred Whitford will speak on The Importance of Purdue Extension. Tickets are just $6 and can be bought at the county Farm Bureau office or for more information contact Mary Ferris at (765) 478-5796.

The Program with Awards and Putnam County's two State FFA Officers begins at 9:30. Please canned food for the Purdue Club Food Drive to support their local food pantry. Scott County Farm Bureau and Scottsburg FFA are hosting their annual Ag Day Breakfast at 6:30 a.m. Get sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, coffee and juice for just 50 cents! The price reflects the farmers share for their pork, eggs, etc. Come out and learn more! A farm toy show and farm toy display competition follow. Open to the public.
