[ISP] Farmersburg Man Arrested on Meth Related Charges

Entry Description

Sullivan County---After an ongoing investigation by troopers from the Putnamville Post, a Farmersburg man was arrested on methamphetamine related charges and incarcerated in the Sullivan County Jail.

Arrested: Terry Frakes, age 61, of Farmersburg, Indiana
Charges: Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Class B felony; Possession of Methamphetamine,
Class C felony; Possession of Precursors, Class D felony; Maintaining a Common
Nuisance, Class D felony; and Improper Dumping of Waste, Class A misdemeanor.

Working on tips and other investigative avenues, troopers arrived at the Frake’s residence at 504 West Heap Street in Farmersburg at 2:08 this afternoon and discovered items commonly used in the manufacture of methamphetamine present in the residence. Approximately two grams of what appeared to be finished methamphetamine product was discovered and seized for laboratory analysis.

Troopers investigating this case were Shilo Raulston, Brent Robinson, and B.J. Patterson.

The Putnamville District is fiercely committed to reducing the production of methamphetamine and the crimes that are normally associated with it. Person(s) who wish to provide tips concerning the production of methamphetamine are urged to contact the Putnamville Post at 765-653-4114. Tips can be anonymous and all tips will be investigated.

The Putnamville District is comprised of Parke, Vermillion, Vigo, Clay, Sullivan, and Putnam counties.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
