[ILEA] Jail Officer Course # 201315

Entry Description
PLEASE NOTE:  REGISTRATION MUST BE MADE THROUGH THE ACADIS SYSTEM.

IC 11-12-4-4 requires all county jail officers to attend an LETB approved 40-hour jail officer course within one year of their date of hire.

DOC pays for county officers only that are not basic graduates.  ILEA fee for all others is $325.00.  Academy lodging will be available for this course.

If a department needs to cancel a student from the ILEA inservice class, it must be done no later than five (5) working days prior to the start of the class.  If a student does not show up or cancellation is made any closer to the start of the class the agency will be responsible for payment in full for this class.
