The presentations are on air quality, water quality, land quality, and recycling, and include interactive activities such as “Environmental Jeopardy” and building an edible landfill. They are about 30 to 50 minutes long, and each school may request up to four.
To register, schools should complete the IDEM Earth Day Celebration Speaker Reservation form at https://forms.in.gov/Download.aspx?id=6615 and e-mail it to education@idem.IN.gov or fax it to (317) 233-5970. Questions may be directed to Jennifer Woolson-Helrigel, IDEM’s Environmental Education Coordinator, at (800) 451-6027, ext. 3-5433.
