Temporary I-65 Restriction
For Overhead Utility Line

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will permit a temporary rolling closure on Interstate 65 early Sunday morning to allow an overhead utility line to cross the interstate.

Indiana State Police will slow both directions of traffic on I-65 approaching Indianapolis Road, which is between I-465 and I-865, sometime between 6:30 a.m and 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 24. 

The permit allows for a traffic stop of up to 20 minutes. However, these events typically last only a few minutes.
