Entry Description
White County-Early this Saturday morning, February 2nd, at approximately 1:23 a.m., Indiana State Police, Monticello Police and White County Sheriff’s Department responded to 5642 E. Richey Park, Monticello after receiving a 911 call about possible stabbings.
Preliminary investigation revealed that David Scott Rodenbarger, 20, stabbed his mother, Michelle Haskins, 41, and his half-sister, Jillian Haskins, 7, who all resided in the above address for unknown reasons. Michelle was able to make the 911 call before succumbing to her injuries. Jillian was taken to White County Memorial Hospital in Monticello where she was pronounced dead from her injuries.
Rodenbarger was taken to the White County Jail in Monticello where he was charged with Murder, further charges maybe pending.
Family has been notified.
This is an on-going investigation. No further information is available at this time.
