[INDOT] Public Open House regarding a proposed new interchange project at I-65 and Worthsville Road in Greenwood, Johnson County

Entry Description
The Indiana Department of Indiana (INDOT)  will hold a Public Open House regarding a proposed new I-65 interchange at Worthsville Road in Greenwood, Johnson County.   The open house will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Clark-Pleasant Middle School, 1354 Worthsville Road in Greenwood. 

The purpose of this open house is to introduce this proposed project to the community and more importantly, to receive public input, address questions, comments and concerns.  The open house will feature various project maps/displays, multiple information stations where INDOT project representatives will be available to explain project details and talk with project stakeholders individually in an informal setting.
 
The purpose of this project is to enhance safety and to address traffic congestion within the corridor by proposing and new interchange be built at Worthsville Road and I-65.  The proposed interchange would also reduce traffic congestion at the existing interchanges at Main Street and at Whiteland Road.
