[ISP] Suspicious Fire Leads to Two Felony Arrests

Muncie – Yesterday, 12/16/13, around 4:15 p.m. members of the Pendleton District Meth Suppression Squad were called to 519 Liberty St. Unit 1, to assist Muncie Police and Fire in the investigation of a suspicious fire. Further investigation by the troopers led to the discovery of a Meth lab.

The resident of the apartment, Brandy Williams, age 32, was located a couple blocks away by troopers and was arrested. While arresting Williams troopers were approached by a male named Brad Miller. Miller was found to be wanted on a warrant for Class “D” Felony Theft and for Probation Violation. In addition Miller was in possession of a controlled substance believed to be morphine.

Brandy Williams was transported to the Delaware County Jail charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Class “B” Felony and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Class “D” Felony. Brad Miller, age 29 of Muncie, was transported to jail for the felony warrant and was also charged with Possession of a Narcotic Drug, Class “D” Felony, Possession of Paraphernalia, Class “A” Misdemeanor, and False Informing, Class “A” Misdemeanor.
