[IEDC] High-Tech Marketing Company Expands in Downtown Indianapolis
Start Date: 12/20/2012 All Day
End Date: 12/20/2012
Entry Description

INDIANAPOLIS (Dec. 20, 2012) – Raidious, LLC, a digital marketing services firm, announced plans today to expand its operations here, creating up to 75 new jobs by 2016.

The company plans to invest $780,400 to grow its digital marketing business. The expansion, which began this fall, includes leasing and equipping 2,800 square feet of office space in the Morrison Opera House in Indianapolis.

“From ExactTarget to Raidious, the Hoosier State has become a hotbed of innovation for entrepreneurial informational technology companies,” said Governor Mitch Daniels. “The continued commitment of these companies is further evidence of Indiana’s unmatched business climate, central location and talented workforce.”

Raidious, which currently has 20 full-time employees at its Indianapolis office, is actively hiring content correspondents, account executives, producers, videographers, developers and social media managers throughout the upcoming year. Interested applicants can apply at www.raidious.com/careers.
"Indianapolis is an amazing community for marketing technology. So many measured marketing companies call Indianapolis home and that has created an environment for us to thrive here,” said Taulbee Jackson, chief executive officer of Raidious. “Our universities are way ahead of others as it relates to the work we do, especially Ball State. The Hoosier work ethic and culture is unbeatable, and we have had several clients mention this, in comparison to our rivals on the coasts and in Chicago."
Founded in 2009, Raidious specializes in content marketing, social media, inbound marketing, owned media and real time marketing management and works with a network across the United States, Europe and Asia. A 2012 ‘Company to Watch’ recipient and the 2012 TechPoint Mira Award for Excellence and Innovation in New Media winner, the company’s clients include Wal-mart, the U.S. Department of Defense, Angie’s List, Turner Sports and Super Bowl XLVI.

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Raidious, LLC up to $800,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $42,000 in training grants based on the company’s job creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives. The city of Indianapolis will consider additional property tax abatement at the request of Develop Indy.

“Raidious’ decision to bring top-quality, high-growth jobs to our market is a win for Indianapolis and reflects greatly on our economic attractiveness and ability to retain and recruit top talent,” said Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard. “We congratulate Raidious on this expansion and look forward to its continued success in our community.”

Raidious is one of more than 70 return-on-investment-based digital marketing businesses or “measured marketing” companies that call the Hoosier State home. Others include ExactTarget, Aprimo, Compendium, Right On Interactive, ModalLogix, Delivra, C.I.K. Enterprises and Formstack. ExactTarget and C.I.K. also both recently announced Indianapolis growth plans. ExactTarget plans to invest $55 million to expand its operations and create 500 new jobs and C.I.K. plans to expand its operations on the west side of the city, adding an additional 57 new jobs.

About Raidious
Raidious is an innovative, scalable software enabled services firm that is changing the way the world thinks about marketing. The company enables brands to engage with their own audiences by making, managing, monitoring, moderating and measuring content across all of a brand’s owned-media channels, including social, email, websites, landing pages, video, mobile and more. Raidious can do this better than agencies and PR firms, because it operates just like CNN, except for brands. For more information, visit http://raidious.com.

About IEDC
Created by Governor Mitch Daniels in 2005 to replace the former Department of Commerce, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation is governed by a 12-member board chaired by Governor Daniels. Dan Hasler serves as the chief executive officer of the IEDC.

The IEDC oversees programs enacted by the General Assembly including tax credits, workforce training grants and public infrastructure assistance. All tax credits are performance-based. Therefore, companies must first invest in Indiana through job creation or capital investment before incentives are paid. A company who does not meet its full projections only receives a percentage of the incentives proportional to its actual investment. For more information about IEDC, visit www.iedc.in.gov.
