Entry Description
Temporary Traffic Stop
For Utility Crossing I-69
HAMILTON COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will permit the temporary stoppage of traffic on Interstate 69 early Sunday morning to allow Duke Energy to cross the interstate with an overhead utility line.
Indiana State Police will stop both directions of traffic on I-69 at the Olio Road overpass, which is just north of Exit 210 to State Road 238, at 7:30 a.m on Sunday, December 30.
The permit allows for a traffic stop of up to 20 minutes. However, these events typically last only a few minutes.
Motorists can learn about Indiana traffic conditions, road closures, construction information and crashes by visiting www.TrafficWise.in.gov or calling 1-800-261-ROAD (7623). For the latest INDOT news, information and links to social media sites visit www.indot.in.gov. |
