Arts Commission accepting grant applications from Region 7 Arts and Cultural Providers  

(Indianapolis, Indiana) – The Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) announced today it is now accepting Regional Initiative Grant applications from community-based arts organizations and cultural program providers in Region 7.

Region 7 includes: Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion and Shelby counties.

Organizations in Region 7 interested in applying for the Arts Commission grants in Arts Operating Support I (AOS I: small organizations with annual cash income of $50,000 to $249,999), Arts Operating Support II (AOS II: larger organizations with annual cash income of $250,000 or more), and Arts Project Support (APS: for cultural program providers that do not have a primary arts-focus mission) may submit their online applications now.

Deadline for application is March 4, 2013.

The Arts Commission has also scheduled grant application workshops for those Region 7 organizations interested in applying, and strongly encourages prospective applicants to attend a workshop and learn about recent changes to the grant program.
