Entry Description
Indianapolis, IN- Wednesday evening, December 12th, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Indiana State Police officers were dispatched to the White River Parkway walking path to the report of a body found.
Officers located the body of a black female on the walking path near the intersection of Limestone and New York Street.
The investigation was delayed a short time while two dogs near the body were removed by Indianapolis Animal Control. The dogs appeared to be “protective” of the decedent and would not let investigative personnel approach.
Today, December, 13th, the Marion County Coroner’s Office released the name of last evening’s death investigation victim as Sherese A. Bingham, 1819 Kessler Blvd. North, 51, of Indianapolis. The cause of death is listed as a gunshot. A hand gun was recovered at the scene.
This is still an active ongoing death investigation and no further information will be released as detectives continue to examine the circumstances surrounding Sherese Bingham’s death. |
