Lanes to be Restricted on U.S. Route 41

Restriction needed for winter maintenance activities

 

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is advising motorists to be aware of upcoming temporary lane restrictions on U.S. Route 41 (U.S. 41) in Vanderburgh County.  On Tuesday, December 11, crews will begin their winter maintenance activities on U.S. 41 between Baseline Road and State Road 57.    

 

Work will begin in the driving lane of U.S. 41 from Baseline Road and move south to the intersection of S.R. 57.  At that time, crews will then move their operation to the driving lane of U.S. 41north bound and proceed north back to Baseline Road.  Crews will then move to the passing lane of U.S. 41 progressing south to S.R. 57.  Crews will then complete the project in the passing lane of north bound U.S. 41.  Work activities typically take place between 7:00 a.m. through approximately 4:00 p.m. local time each day through December 21.  Inclement weather may cause the restriction dates and times to be delayed.
