The Indiana State Department of Agriculture is proud to announce that CowCo, Inc. is the newest partner to the Certified Livestock Producer Program (CLPP) and is offering discounts on various livestock equipment to certified livestock producers.

“CowCo, Inc. is an excellent CLPP partner with a wide variety of products available,” said John Nagle, CLPP program manager. “We appreciate this Indiana Company supporting our Hoosier livestock producers.”

CowCo, Inc. has more than 30 years of experience offering high-quality livestock equipment. Located in North Vernon, Ind., CowCo, Inc. manufactures its own line of cattle-handling equipment as well as distributes other company livestock equipment and supplies.

Lt. Governor Skillman launched the Certified Livestock Producer Program in July 2008. Since then, 78 Hoosier farmers have earned certifications. Indiana is one of only a handful of states to have a voluntary program that recognizes farmers who demonstrate their commitment to innovation and top-industry standards in food safety, animal well-being, environmental practices, emergency planning, biosecurity and being a good neighbor.
