Lt. Governor Sue Ellspermann Awards

Over $8 million in Grants to Rural Indiana

Indianapolis – Lt. Governor Sue Ellspermann yesterday formally awarded Community Focus Fund (CFF) and Main Street Revitalization Program (MSRP) grants, totaling $8,181,059 to 24 Hoosier communities. The grants are funded by the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, which is administered by the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs.

“These grants are supporting projects that have been identified by the local communities as important for their continued economic development and quality of life,” said Lt. Governor Sue Ellspermann.  “The funds help these communities meet the challenges of infrastructure, public safety, library and health care facility costs, while historic preservation is an important stabilizing influence on community development.”
