I-69 Northbound Restrictions
Tonight at State Road 37
FISHERS, Ind. – Contractors for the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) plan to shift traffic tonight on northbound I-69 under the State Road 37 flyover bridge north of Exit 205.
Alternating lane restrictions on northbound I-69 will begin at 10 p.m. as crews modify pavement markings to shift two lanes of traffic slightly to the left. The shift will allow room for workers to continue on the southern-most bridge pier. Lane restrictions are expected to end before 5 a.m. Tuesday, and all ramps will remain open throughout the overnight shift.
Construction on the northbound side of the interchange started in April. Northbound I-69 is currently restricted to two lanes north of Exit 205 as a new two-lane flyover ramp to State Road 37 is constructed. Milestone Contractors, the state’s contractor for the $18 million interchange improvement project, will begin improvements to the southbound side of the interchange in 2013.
