STATE FIRE MARSHAL’S OFFICE ASSISTING IN INDIANAPOLIS EXPLOSION INVESTIGATION

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office is assisting Indianapolis authorities in the investigation into the explosion on the city’s south side on November 10.

Federal authorities are also involved in the investigation.

The explosion killed two people and injured several more. Five homes were destroyed and numerous homes in the area suffered damage.

The Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office is a division of the Indiana Department of Homeland Security.

Fire investigators with the State Fire Marshal’s Office are assisting at the request of the Indianapolis Fire Department.
