[INDOT] Dock Street Closure, East Chicago, Lake County

Entry Description

EAST CHICAGO, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces the closure of Dock Street between Dickey Road and Canal Street beginning Monday, November 5th through early December, weather permitting. The closure is necessary to ensure driver safety, as crews demolish the Cline Avenue bridge.

 

A detour will take southbound traffic east on Dickey Road, south on Michigan Avenue, and west on Canal Street. Northbound traffic will travel east on Canal Street, north on Michigan Avenue, and west on Dickey Road.
