[INDOT] US 6 Lane Restriction on Small Structure Near Elkhart/Noble County Line

Entry Description
ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces US 6 lane restrictions have begun on the small structure over Blue Ditch, between SR 13 and CR 43, near the Elkhart/Noble county line. Traffic will be intermittently restricted to one lane in alternating directions, controlled by flaggers, as a temporary runaround is constructed on the north side of US 6. The runaround will be used during replacement of the Blue Ditch small structure, for which construction is scheduled to begin in spring of 2013. The intermittent lane restrictions for the runaround construction are expected to be complete by November 22, 2012.
