{INDOT} US 6 Traffic to Route onto Blue Ditch Runaround Near Elkhart/Noble County Line

Entry Description
ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces US 6 traffic will be routed over the newly constructed Blue Ditch temporary runaround, between CR 43 and US 33/SR 13, starting in the late afternoon on Thursday, November 29. US 6 traffic will use the runaround until replacement of the small structure under US 6 is completed next year. The runaround has 12-ft. travel lanes and 4-ft. paved shoulders, and will be in use 24/7. Construction of the Blue Ditch small structure is scheduled to begin in spring of 2013.
