2:30 pm U.S. Meat Export Federation’s (USMEF) Strategic Planning Conference
The USMEF Strategic Planning Conference will take place November 7-9 in Indianapolis. The General Session will open with presentations by Indiana Agriculture Director Joe Kelsay and Elanco President Jeff Simmons, followed by regional market breakouts that focus on overall trends in the marketplace and what USMEF is doing to increase demand. USMEF is a nonprofit trade association working to create new opportunities and develop existing international markets for U.S. beef, pork, lamb and veal. The current Chairman of USMEF is Danita Rodibaugh from Rensselaer, IN.
