Sen. Travis Holdman (R-Markle) made the following statement today praising area schools for earning ‘A’ grades in Indiana’s 2011-2012 school year performance review:
STATEHOUSE (Nov. 1, 2012) — “Our community has gone the extra mile to ensure our students receive the best education possible. Today’s report underscores this in the great number of schools that have received an ‘A’ grade for the 2011-2012 school year. I look forward to seeing even more local schools join this list next year.”

- Bloomfield Elementary School
- Bluffton High School
- Bluffton-Harrison Middle School
- East Elementary School
- East Jay County Middle School
- Eastbrook North Elementary

- Jay County High School
- Judge Haynes Elementary School
- Lancaster Central School
- Mississinewa High School
- Montpelier School
- North Side Elementary School
- Norwell Middle School
- Pennville Elementary School
- Redkey Elementary School
- Roanoke Elementary School

At today’s State Board of Education meeting, Superintendent of Public Instruction Dr. Tony Bennett announced that more than 61 percent of Indiana’s schools received A or B letter grades for the 2011-2012 school year.
