[DNR] “Fall-o-Ween” at McCormick’s Creek State Park, Oct. 26-27

Entry Description
Join the Friends of McCormick’s Creek group and park staff for a weekend of activities geared toward the Halloween season.

Fall-o-Ween fun starts Friday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m., with a special program by the Hoosier Herpetological Society in the park’s Canyon Inn.

Festivities continue on Saturday with activities around the Nature Center. Craft programs start at 11 a.m. and run through 3 p.m. There will be a campsite decorating contest from 3 – 5 p.m. Trick-or-treating in the campground will run from 3 – 6 p.m. A costume contest will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Nature Center.

Beginning at 8 p.m. and running through 9:30 p.m., the Friends group will present a “Brothers Grimm” themed trail around the Nature Center.

McCormick’s Creek State Park is located on State Road 46, 14 miles northwest of Bloomington and two miles east of Spencer.
