Entry Description State Sen. Luke Kenley (R-Noblesville) made the following statement today praising Hamilton County schools for earning ‘A’ grades in Indiana’s 2011-2012 school year performance review:
STATEHOUSE (Oct. 31, 2012) — “The 2011-2012 school year was a very successful one for Indiana schools, especially those in our Hamilton County communities,” Kenley said. “More than 20 schools in this area received ‘A’ performance grades from the Indiana Department of Education — a huge achievement. Congratulations to all students, parents, teachers and staff involved in making this happen. Your hard work has not gone unnoticed.”
The schools include:

• Cumberland Road Elementary School
• Hoosier Road Elementary School
• Fishers Junior High School
• Harrison Parkway Elementary School
• Fishers High School
• Durbin Elementary School
• Hamilton Heights Elementary School
• Hamilton Heights Middle School
• Hamilton Heights Primary School
• Carmel High School
• Clay Middle School
• Cherry Tree Elementary School
• Carmel Middle School
• Smoky Row Elementary School
• Prairie Trace Elementary School
• Mohawk Trails Elementary School
• Noblesville High School
• Hinkle Creek Elementary School
• North Elementary School
• Stony Creek Elementary School
• Noble Crossing Elementary School
At today’s State Board of Education meeting, Superintendent of Public Instruction Dr. Tony Bennett announced that more than 61 percent of Indiana’s schools received A or B letter grades for the 2011-2012 school year.
