I-70 Project Will Close the westbound Ramps for Resurfacing

Little Point exit ramp will close Wednesday night

 

PUTNAM/MORGAN COUNTIES, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces the resurfacing project on I-70 will close the westbound ramps at Little Point (Exit 51) beginning tomorrow night to mill and resurface the ramps.  Crews plan the following schedule for closures:

 

·        10/31   6 p.m. - 6 a.m. on 11/1            WB I-70 exit ramp at Little Point

·        11/1     5 p.m. - 6 a.m. on 11/2            Little Point on ramp to WB I-70  

·        11/3     6 a.m. - 1 a.m. on 11/4             WB  I-70 Exit ramp at Little Point

·        11/5     5 a.m. - 3 p.m.                         Little Point on ramp to WB I-70  

 

This project on I-70 will resurface the interstate from US 231 to Little Point.  This project was awarded to Rieth-Riley Construction for $10.49 million.  This project is scheduled for completion in November of this year.
