New Traffic Signal for U.S. 231 in Greene County

SCOTLAND, Ind. – Motorists traveling U.S. 231 in southern Greene County will soon notice a new traffic signal at the intersection of State Road 45/58 near the Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center.

 

On Saturday, November 3, the new signals will be installed and flash amber for U.S. 231 traffic and red for S.R. 45/58 and C.R. 710 traffic.  This acts as a warning to motorists that traffic patterns will change at the intersection.  The signal will change to its full functioning status sometime the morning of Saturday, November 10.

 

Motorists are urged to pay special attention while driving through this area as traffic becomes accustomed to the new signal.
