Lane Restrictions to Take Place on Interstate 64

Motorists advised to slow down and be alert

GRIFFIN, Ind. –The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is announcing there will be temporary lane restrictions on Interstate 64 (I-64) over the Wabash River.

 

Starting Tuesday, November 6, crews will be surveying along Interstate 64 (I-64) in Posey County.  Work will begin at approximately 8:00 a.m. local time, and complete by 5:00 p.m. each day with all work complete Friday, November 9th, weather permitting.  Crews will close the inside lanes of both the north and south bound lanes the first two days. Once completed, crews will then move their operations to the outside lanes.
