Gibson County – Friday afternoon, October 26, at approximately 4:15, Indiana State Police and members of the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Christopher Lynn Williamson, 26, of Princeton, for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, a Class D Felony.

Detectives from the Indiana State Police Cyber Crimes Section were conducting compliance checks in Gibson County to insure convicted sex offenders were registering as required by law.  During their investigation they determined Williamson, a convicted sex offender, had moved from his previous residence in Princeton to a different address. Williamson failed to inform the Gibson County Sheriff’s Department of his recent move to 3224 West Birch Street, Trailer 71, in Princeton.  Williamson was arrested at his residence without incident and taken to the Gibson County Jail where he is currently being held on a $750 cash bond.
